Q: how do I know that my new toyota rav4 2006 has VSC?
is a 4 cyl. 166HP 16V, the dealer didn’t mention it, I ask but he told me had “Auto LSD”.
A: All Toyota SUV’s have had VSC since 2004. It’s standard, and there is no way to get one without it. ergo, your rav has VSC.
For Toyota, they call it the Star Safety System.
Q: How much have you paid for a new Toyota RAV4 base v6 2008 (2007) (Cnd price)?
A: We have owned 5 Toyotas all brand new, and currently drive (i) Sienna XLE minivan 6 cylinder that we had to preorder and had no choice in the 300 lb add-on towing package that was standard to the XLE’s coming off the factory and (ii) my wife drives a Highlander SUV 6 cylinder AWD simply bec the 4 cylinder versions (2 models) lacked many of the upgrade features like power seats etc.
Both of these terrific vehicles get so-so gas mileage like 18 mpg around town if we’re lucky and 24mpg to 27 mpg on interstate highway, Before we owned these Toyotas, we owned 2 Corolla LEs and a 4 cylinder Camry LE that we gave away with 211,000 miles…
Question: With gasoline prices going higher, why in the world wiould someone who was buying a RAV4 be interested in 6 cylinder SUV when Toyota sells 4 cylinder versions comparably equipped?

Car audio service tald me that they do not have but ther should be an aparat to convertion.
You may have idea about the convertor ar experience to find aparatus.
A: Go to car audio service; one mistake and you’ll burn the equipment (it happens all the time). But anyway you can try, it’s your money.
Q: wat is the new Toyota RAV4’s n Honda CR-V transmission (is the engine made in U.S or is it from Japan)?
A: i might be wrong but i think its Japan
Q: 2007 Acura RDX vs New Toyota RAV4?
I am currently in the process of buying a car. I have found two cars in my area that i am very interested in; a 2010 RAV4 and a 2007 Acura RDX. The RDX is unbelievably loaded, it has everything including backup camera, navigation, and leather seats. The RAV4 has leather seats, but no navigation or extras and costs 5,000-10,000 dollars more. The dealer (whom i know well and trust) offered to sell me the Acura for 23,500. What should i buy? Things i am concerned about are premium fuel and gas mileage. The car is for my 16 year old son, so insurance cost is a factor as well (i assume the RAV4 would cost more to insure comprehensively).
A: Hi. My 20 year old daughter presently owns a 2004 Rav4 and she loves it. I say this because it shows that its a well made car. We haven’t had to do anything to it in the two years that she has had it. I would opt for the 2010 Rav4 because of the warranty that you will have. The 2007 RDX’s warranty will run out soon and if anything happens to it your bills to repair it will be high. I also think that the Acura might be too flashy for a 16yr old. It might draw too much attention to him.
Q: When will the new Toyota RAV4 come out n how it look like (plz tell me (web… etc.)?
A: Check out the following link

Q: I want to lease a new 2006 Toyota Rav4 with no money down for four years. What should my monthly payment be?
A: go to this web site its toyotas payment estimator
http://www.toyotafinancial.com/estimator/tfs/pe_zip.jsp?toycompop=yes
Q: New tires Toyota Rav4?
anybody have an estimate for new tires with mounting/alignment on 2006 rav4 Sport 4WD? if so, how much and should i go to the dealership directly or a shop like pepboys, STS, etc?
A: The ABSOLUTE best thing to do is to go to the “Tire Rack” web site. They carry all the significant tires made. THey will have road tested and comparison shopped for you, giving you the characteristic differences of each tire on YOUR particular car!!! It will take about an hour for you to figure out how to negotiate around their web-site. Or, you can just call them. They are the true tire “guru’s!” You can buy directly from them, or use their information to bargain with at your local tire store. You will learn A LOT just by reading their expose about tire readings, like treadwear ratings, temperature rating, etc. Be aware that many tires can actually IMPROVE your gas mileage. Other tires will cause you to LOSE gas mileage. Good luck and happy tire shopping!!
Q: Can you get a new, 2009 Toyota RAV4 Limited 4×4 (4cyl.) with 3rd Row Seating?
It seems like Toyota only makes 3rd Row Seating available in the Base model.
A: It is going to depend on how Toyota is producting Rav4’s in your area. The reason I say this is that per Toyota, the Limited 4×4 with 4cyl has the 3rd row seat as an option, but if they are not building that configuration in your area, it may not be an available option.
I am familiar with two regions of Toyota as a result of my experience, and at least in the New York Region (NY, NJ, CT) they are not available. They are not available in the Southeast Region of Toyota either.
Depending on what features of the Limited model you are looking for, you may want to consider either a base model with 3rd row and adding the features you want or the highlander 4cyl with 3rd row.
Hope this helps.

Q: Is it true that VIN of Toyota Rav4 starting with ‘J’ has no problem?
I am really interested in buying a new toyota Rav4, but the recent recall has kept me back. But, my friend told me that a Rav4 with a VIN starting with ‘J’ will not have any problems. Is this true? Please help me!!
A: Yes If you can get your hands on a RAV4 with a VIN number J your safe…
http://www.edmunds.com/industry-car-news/toyota-recall.html
Certain 2009-2010 RAV4 and Corolla (vehicles with VIN numbers beginning with “J” are not affected)
Certain 2007-2010 Camry (VIN numbers beginning with “J” are not affected)
Certain 2010 Highlander (VIN numbers beginning with “J” are not affected)
All 2005-2010 Avalon
All 2007-2010 Tundra
All 2008-2010 Sequoia
All 2009-2010 Matrix
http://www.ehow.com/how_5930302_respond-toyota-recall-2010.html
Since this is a massive recall by Toyota, all Toyota shoppers currently are purchasing all Vehicles which have the VIN number that begins with J…..meaning they were build in Japan, (has denso pedal, these pedals were not included in the recall). All American pedals were included in recall….
CURRENTLY AVOID VIN NUMBERS WITH 1-4……those were build here on US grounds…
Good Luck, Drive Safe!
Q: How much would it cost to lease a 2007 Toyota Rav4 to a 17 year old new driver?
for 36 months? for 48 months?
A: no child can sign for a least nor can a person with fresh credit as a least takes EXCELLENT credit to get. if this is a child, drop the lease idea….its not for you and only about 6% of the population can even lease a car to begin with. they advertise leases cause the price is lower than a bank loan and that draws customers in thinking all prices are low….its called marketing.
if this is the parent and are thinking of this car for your child….smack yourself a few times in the mirror and then wake up. a lease for a child? are you insain? limited mileage, car must be in perfect condition to return, etc etc…..and you expect this to all happen? what dream world are you in?
Q: what can you say about the new 2006 toyota rav4?
A: nice! dude those little rav4 will get you through the hardest trails and city streets. plus you wont need to stop at every gas station like the larger SUVs.
Q: My family is planning on buying a new car, which is better, the Mercury Mariner or the Toyota Rav4?
What pro’s and con’s do each of these have? Right now, the Merucry Mariner looks more appealing to my family and I, but we want to compair and contrast it to the Toyota Rav4. Which is better and tell why.
A: The RAV4 is a better value in my opinion… Mercury being a ford affiliated brand will not have great resale value and reliablity… Plus, do you want your car warranty to be from a company which lost over $12billion last year (I think that is about $2k a minute and $400 a second they lost)…
I sell toyotas and own toyotas…
Which model, engine,4×4 or 2wd RAV4 are you thinking of? I can give you better pro’s to buy a toyota then and it will help you in the long run by making a educated decision.
Q: I have a 2000 Toyota Rav4 and I am looking to buy a new cd deck?
Any suggestions; I need something that is compatible with it and has a mp3 player input jack. In addition an hd radio would be a plus… help please!
A: Crutchfield.com
Outfit your car, youll find everything that will fit in the space you have.
it will give you to different options you have, and also if you purchase a radio @ $130 or above, you usually get free wire harnesses and dask kit along with details on how to install it and what tools youll need…
you will find almost all radios with mp3 capability, as well as aux jack input, and sometimes usb input.
Q: I am looking to buy a new car. I want a Toyota Prius or Rav4?
I heard that the prius is really hard to purchase I have not so good credit(620). Some lady at the bank told us (me and hubby) that she didn’t qualify for a hybrid something that the battery was 3 to 4 grand? Is this true? Also prius are small cars my hubby is 6′0 should I just go with Rav4?
A: RAV4 has no advantage over the Prius, except the fact that it’s an SUV – whatever that means.
Prius is more roomy, has much better fuel economy and handles much better. The battery life should not be a major issue – it lasts a really long time. Besides, battery technologies are improving rapidly and prices are bound to go down in the coming years. So when you need a replacement, it may cost less than 3k.
And about the “hard to purchase” part, the lady at the bank has no idea what she is talking about.
Good luck.
