Q: I am having trouble with Ford reparing a new Edge. They have attempted repairs 7 times already.?
I bought a new Ford Edge and since July have had it in the shop over 30 days on 7 different occasions for the same problem. The factory installed subwoofer keeps blowing. The dealership has told me that to replace the vehicle I will have to deal with Ford. Ford is telling me that they can not guarantee that this 8th attempt to repair the problem will work. But they will not replace the car. I am tired of wasting my time trying to get this resolved, what options do I have?

A: You’re probably not going to get a new vehicle because of a blown subwoofer. Try taking it to a different Ford dealership to see if they come up with a different fix. Factory subs are garbage anyway, I would get something aftermarket.

Q: anyone know anything about the new Ford Edge?
I am looking for a new car, and although my dream car would be the mustang, it is not practical in my life right now, so I am starting to look at the Edge. I havent really heard much about it, and wondering who ford is trying to market it towards, and also any pros and cons about it. Any help would be great!

A: I’ve seen a few around. Nice looking crossover SUV. Seems kind of pricey though. Maybe it’s just the one I saw on the lot when I was looking at the Fusions.

By the way, the quality of my new Fusion is Excellent! If the Edge is made as well, you’ll be pleased with it.

A: check tire size, bolt pattern, and hub center. the 20’s might be too wide and tall for the egde, it’s a much smaller vehicle

A: Alrighty… your ford radio system is sirius ready… did you pay to have it activated when you bought the car? Since you already have a sirius account, you can call sirius and give them the sid (sirius id) of the tuner box in the ford. That is all the info that you will need to activate it on your account. Just get that info and call 1-888-539-SIRIUS (7474).

Q: Reverse Light on my brand new 07 Ford edge is out, is that covered by the warranty?
Bought it New saturday noticed it today. Anyone familiar with Ford warranties is appreciated.

A: Yes. The only things that isn’t covered is normal wear and tear like break pad and belts. Lights shouldn’t go out within the year.

A: Yes!

SYNC will be upgradeable in the future with software patches.

A: I think that they are some of the most beautiful cars on the road today. It is a very nice vehicle inside with a very nice Visa Sunroof. The backseat has more leg room than a Jeep Grand Cherokee 2003 model. Don’t listen to these people who say to buy a GM or Toyota product, because for one thing GM had over half their vehicles fail the quality test. Ford had none that failed.

Q: New ford edge commercial song?
Looking for the name of the new ford edge song. It’s folky, with a woman singing, really nice calm music but catchy. It’s not miles and miles by Dee – I downloaded that. It is definitely a different song. Does anyone have any ideas about what it might be?

Q: What kind of SUV should I get?A new ford edge or a used toyota highlander? And why?

A: I have inspected over 1,000 cars and truck and the Toyota is the least of all cars and trucks I inspect for customers on a daily bases, The Ford is the most common vehicle I inspect for Lemon Law attorney firms. The Toyota is much more reliable not because I have one with 178,878 miles and it has never been in the shop for anything other than a O2 sensor. Stay away from Ford I think they are having quality control problems. Good Luck and God Bless
