Q: What is the chevy equinox car like?
My mom found an 06 one for sale and was wondering how people like theirs?

A: For your mom it’s the perfect car. Some storage capacity, seats 5 but we’ve crammed 8 in one, and it’s small enough outside to not be a problem to drive in tight spaces for her.

Q: How much does it cost to list a car for sale on ebay?
i am hoping to sell a chevy equinox i am going back to school i havent had much luck just putting it on car websites or parking it in the yard for the weekend. Does anyone know how much it costs to sell a car on ebay? With all fees included? please let me know thanks

A: It’s $40 to list it with one free picture, you can add a 24 photo pack for $2, the final value fee when it sells is another $50

Q: I am thinking of buying a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix GT with 30,000 miles on itwhat do you think?
its sale price is 14990, i am going to try to take it down to 14300, but i havent even test drove it yet, because i get mixed reviews on this vehicle. Please someone inform if it’s a car i need to turn away from. I like the 06 chevy equinox but it costs to much i have a 2 year old i just need to know if this is a good car for my family?

A: Here’s the REAL deal on the Pontiac Grand Prix.

3800 engine is FABULOUS! And expect 30+ MPG on the highway, even at 75MPH. Unless it’s supercharged, then expect 29! (Even less if you like feeling that power)

Nice, roomy car, and the real reson for the demise of the Bonneville. With the same drivetrain and approximate size of the Bonneville, the GP was thousands less.

Service issues are the same as any car out there (including Japanese cars). Change the oil, replace brake pads when necessary, drive it for 150,000 miles or more.

BTW, ignore the GM haters. If you want to see how trouble free those cars are, check out the Toyota and Honda areas here. If the cars are as good as they say, those sites should be free of posts, right?

Q: Help! I cant choose the right car! What say you?
My father is convinced that I’m an Idiot, and cant possibly find a reliable used car for a decent price. Apparently he’s right, because I feel like the prices just dont match the miles on the cars for sale online. ESPECIALLY when you check with KBB and Edmunds..He KNOWS i’ll get a lemon. I’m determined to prove him wrong..with your knowledge.

I have a 2000 pontiac grand am se- I want to trade in to the toyota dealership for a discount towards my next piece of crap. But mine needs a water pump, power steering pump, and has a slew of mechanical problems.

These are the ones in my budget that I liked enough to want to test drive/have and mechanic check out. I dont know a lot about cars though, Or what a good deal is..really. I mean I’ll have my Edmunds.com TMV printout..and CARFAX history report..and a mechanics opinion..but at the end of the day there’s no guarantees. So if you know from experience, Please share. Just want something reliable and sexy – I dont drive too, too much. But Here they are, in order of Price –

Dealership:
1.$8,448 – Silver 2005 Chevy Equinox – 152,707 miles
2.$6,998 – Beige Lexus RX 300 – 136,969 miles
2.$6,288 – Black 2003 Ford Mustang – 107,464 miles
3.$5,994 – Grey 2000 Infinity I30 – 149,924 miles

Dealership 2
$7995 Charcoal 2002 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT – 87,127 miles* I like this one – are they any good?
$7990 Green 2003 Jeep Liberty Sport 4×4 – 108,335 miles
$6950 Silver 1999 4Runner Limited – 166k miles

Private seller:
$4200 Tan Isuzu Trooper S 4×4 -143k miles

A: They’re all big, big miles so you should have plenty of room to negotiate on the price. The Trooper is a big old fashioned unit but is bullet-proof if it’s been serviced properly. It is a dependable workhorse, there are very few problems which are likely to cause you grief even if put to constant hard work. Check the history but if it’s been looked after reasonably well 143k miles is like a short trip to the shops and back.
